What it means

The resource does not exist, was erased, or is not visible to this credential. Another organisation's case always answers 404. An assessment that ended without a decision also answers 404 for its decision.

What to do

Do not retry. Check the ID; if the CRM record may be stale, re-sync with GET /v1/cases?external_ref=… (§12.4).
